CUSTOMER TESTIMONIALS

“Satsang is a beautiful studio all around! Shannah is an amazing teacher and thoughtfully cultivates other teachers who complement her knowledgeable teaching.

The space is large, inviting, and open with big windows and lots of plants! It’s conveniently located on the first floor of the Hope Artiste Village and you can easily find free parking.

The teaching at the studio is strong with lots of options for all bodies. It also touches on more than just the Asana limb of yoga, which is a little hard to find in the Providence area.

Try it out. I genuinely think you’ll love it!”

— Alex Jacques

“The Best Yoga in Rhode Island. Seriously. I've studied yoga with a lot of people.
Shannah Green at Satsang is the best teacher. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced student, her cues are informative and interesting. It's not the same-old-same-old. The other teachers are all excellent.
Oh, and it's a beautiful studio to practice in with lots of parking in and around the building.”

— Mark Binder

“Satsang is a lovely studio! Shannah is a master yoga instructor and I have thoroughly enjoyed taking classes with All of the instructors at Satsang. Highly recommended.”

— Marlene Yang

“I started practicing at this Satsang Yoga Studio when my fabulous teacher, Shannah, opened it. Shannah, and the other yoga teachers, have transformed my approach to yoga and wellbeing. Not only does this studio offer an incredible physical practice, but it also emphasizes the importance of cultivating a strong mind-body connection and building a supportive community. Satsang is a welcoming and inclusive environment for people of all levels. The classes are thoughtfully designed and there are excellent workshops and retreat offerings that allow students to deepen their practice and understanding of yoga. 'Yin and Pin' was a personal favorite add on class!

Beyond the exceptional classes, the sense of community at this studio is wonderful. The physical space is beautiful...almost sanctuary like. If you are in the area, try a class or two. You will not be disappointed.”

— Joanna Beth Zesk

“Shannah's space is warm and inviting and her class is always challenging, thought-provoking, and introspective. I've been practicing with Shannah for more than six years, sometimes multiple times a week, and still each time I see something differently or learn something new. She will always challenge you to grow and become stronger physically, mentally, and spiritually.”

— Jen Galasso

“I have practiced yoga at many studios over the years but none have compared to the experiences at Satsang. The instructors all offer their unique style and bring their gifts to each class. I appreciate the way form is corrected to allow you to fully benefit from each posture. I most appreciate the words spoken for individual reflection on more authentic ways of being.”
